NEWS: 09/2024: Kirk's poem, "Aspirations," was selected to be featured in Charlotte, NC's "Of Earth and Sky" poetry project. A line from the poem, I Want To Make Art That Sings To Me, was installed as an art piece near uptown Charlotte as part of Charlotte's International Art Festival.

NEWS: 2022 FOUNDRY GALLERY in Washington D.C. has selected Kirk's painting, 'Some Assembly Required', to be part of their juried exhibit, 'Artists Choice 2022'. The show will run the month of August with an opening reception on Saturday, Aug. 6. Foundry is one of D.C's oldest and most prestigious artist-owned galleries.

NEWS: Kirk's Painting, 'August Sighs, Leaves Whisper' is now on a Billboard in Charlotte. As part of a project called 'PopArt', Sponsored by the Arts & Science Council of Charlotte and Adams Outdoor Advertising, Kirk was one of 20 local artists selected for billboards. The image will rotate to different billboard locations throughout 2014. In addition, the images will be placed on newstands in Uptown Charlotte.
